I managed to snap a picture of this pretty buck tiptoeing on the edge of the Grand Canyon one morning. Neat thing about getting a shot with a camera is that the animal lives.

Thanks Ken, I did play around with it and think I found the sweet spot. It is not a perfect picture. The morning was hazy and the background diffused. Ideally the pine growth on the right would have been more substantial and better frame the subject. But like the ugly girl we sometimes bring to the dance, it is still okay.
This photo is beautiful! Although the technical side can be batted about, I think if a man-on-the-street photograph fan saw this, he would first be mesmerized by the deer's eyes and secondly, be grateful the image was captured.
Very neat. Hunting with a Nikon. Perfect depth of field.

ReplyDeleteI like the brightest image the best, becomes kind of backlit a bit yet remains open in the shadows. nice capture.
