Less Is More

I'm sure I should beg forgiveness for putting this up but this is the sum total of the technology I use when I am at my best (admittedly a rare occasion).  It is a Chevrolet in the world of optics and merely in very good condition--a mile from mint.  Still this is where the real thrill is and where I really "feel the love" with photography.

  1. Nice piece of photographic history. I guess Ansel Adams would have rejected this lens since it only stops down to f:45.

  2. Probably so. I should send this to SK Grimes and have an f64 engraved on it. The odd thing is that these antiques can perform pretty well in relation to contemporary lenses-especially in black and white where you have easy contrast control.
