During the years Karon & I lived on Lana'i and Maui, I'm afraid we only managed to make it to Kauai once. Being the northern-most major Hawaiian island, Kauai receives more rain than the other islands. (Kind of like North County in San Diego). The result being, the island is a color of green I've never seen before. It reminded me of photographs I've seen of Ireland. Beautiful.
