Lauren is still in orbit!

My wife, Lauren, was completely thrilled today to meet the movie star Dick Van Dyke at the LA City Council meeting. She is the beautiful blond between Van Dyke and Councilmember Dennis Zine, her grade school classmate for eight years.  Second from right is Councilmember Jan Perry and on the right is Van Dyke's wife Arlene. Van Dyke was at the council meeting to receive recognition from Perry for his support and contributions to the cause of homelessness in Los Angeles.
Zine is running for the position of Los Angeles City Controller and Perry is running for Los Angeles Mayor. In the background is the desk of the Council President.
