I like the image even though it is busy. The swap meet gives me the feeling of being in an East Indian slum in the middle of an industrial wasteland. Life has sprung up among the discards of Oceanside and that life is pretty energetic and positive feeling but the sense that the people are discards like the drive provokes sadness.
What a coincidence - Karon & I just drove past there about an hour ago and were laughingly (?) wondering how many young ones had been conceived at that drive-in.
