Out of the Green #2

I posted the first version of this a few days ago. It shows the whole wave and the rider in context. For this one, I cropped in quite a bit and it takes the guy out of the context of the wave, however, I think it is more powerful.

Comments??? ( are appreciated!!!)

  3. It is a tough crop. When this s**t happens sometimes it is a good idea to put it away for a few days and then come back. The world's best crop may easily suggest itself then. Besides, this method is easier than the other alternative: Climbing Mt. Baldy barefoot in a loin cloth, sitting on an anthill on the peak and waiting for enlightenment.

  5. Re: aspect ratio.... What do you mean? Is this too much of a pano or ?

  6. Read up on the golden section 1.6 to 1, that means a little too much pan here. If you pan like this better to make it even thinner in the vertical.
